Nicholas Jordan Tucker-Pacquette known as Nick Tucker was born in San Diego and now lives in L.A. At 24 years old he’s a professional skater and is starring in the new skate documentary ‘We Are Blood’.
What’s your earliest childhood memory?
Watching my friends skate on the local block and picking it up.
You’re in the UK for The Dew Tour, have you been on this tour before and what are you most looking forward to?
This is the first time the Dew Tour Bootcamp has come to the UK so I’m excited to visit Northampton.
What’s your favourite skate trick?
360 degree flip on flat ground
If you weren’t a pro skater, what do you think you’d be doing instead?
I’d probably be trying to do play some other types of sport – basketball or soccer. I played a little when I was younger.
Who are your sponsors and what does being sponsored allow you to do in life?
Mountain Dew, Primitive, Venture Trucks, 95 Eyewear, Burger Lounge, Diamond Hardware, Rastaclap. It allows me to travel, it’s a blessing as technically I’m working but doesn’t feel like work at all. You’re kind of on you’re own schedule, unlike most other jobs.
What would you advise to youngsters coming up the skating ranks to focus on?
Stop worrying about being sponsored and just have fun and skate!
Who do you most look up to in life and why?
My mum. My brother. Family and friends, mainly!
What one thing would make your life better?
For my family to be happy and healthy forever!
What’s your favourite hobby aside from skating?
Reading, I don’t have any favourite particular genre, just like learning about the world!
Tell us one place in the world you’d love to visit
Tell me about We Are Blood, how did you get involved in that?
I got a phone call from Ty Evans and he mentioned he wanted to make a film about skate culture and life. He said he wanted to get me on board, and the rest is history! He is a legendary cinematographer and I’ve admired his work for years
What’s your favourite food?
What makes you sad?
When I stub my toe
What do you hope to achieve in your career?
It’d be cool to win a contest – or two or three! As long as my family and close friends are good and taken care of, I’ll be happy!
My party trick is: I don’t party!

“With the support of Mountain Dew Green Label Films and Brain Farm, WE ARE BLOOD will redefine how the world experiences and associates with skateboarding,” said Director Ty Evans. “We are excited to tell a compelling story about the raw emotions of skateboarding, and by using the best in digital cinema techniques and equipment, we’re creating something different than skateboarding films of the past.”
