Who are your sponsors?

Cushe Footwear, Animal Clothing, Head Skis, Ellis Brigham

How has having sponsors changed your life?

I don’t have to buy any clothes/shoes and all my ski stuff. It has also opened up many opportunities of work and fun activities. Last summer I tested a new Animal FlowRider in Bedford, so much fun!

If you have a university degree, what subject is it? If you don’t, what has been the ‘University of Life’s’ greatest lesson so far?

I haven’t been to university….yet. Perhaps I’ll go if I eventually need one for a specific job.  I always think that you should never turn down opportunities, otherwise you will never know what would have happened.

Do you enjoy your job? What are the best bits and what are the worst bits?

I love all my jobs (I work in an office part-time). The worst bit is living out of a suitcase, the long haul flights and having a bad fall. The best bit is the crisp mountain air, fresh powder, and a perfectly shaped empty pipe.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

Definitely fly! No more airfares and you can ski anywhere. If you get into trouble you can just fly away.

Sum up your outlook on life in 5 words or less…

You only live once….enjoy!

What are you most looking forward to during the remainder of 2011?

I have a hiking expedition to Nepal in November. Then I’m straight into ski training from December.

What are you most looking forward to in 2012?

Training in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Do you have a party-trick? If so, what is it?

Juggling with 3 balls!

What are you most proud of in your career so far?

Representing Team GB at the World Champs in Japan and coming 4th in Aspen Open, Colorado.

What are you most proud of in your personal life?

Digging an Olympic size trampoline in the garden (so the trampoline is at ground level). It took weeks of digging, sieving and building but it was all worth it in the end.

What makes you sad?

Recently lost my grandad who inspired me and encouraged me to always make the best of situations. He worked till he was 85!

What makes you happy?

Skiing and having a Sunday roast with all my family.

What is your favourite smell?

Freshly pulled carrots from the garden.

Who do you most admire and why?

Probably Lance Armstrong after reading his book ‘Its not all about the bike’. Makes you realize that you can push yourself and train hard, whatever your situation.

Which is your favourite ski spot in Europe?

For fresh powder Verbier, Switzerland and for park Laax, Switzerland.

Where is the best place you’ve ever skied in the entire world?

Aspen, Colorado. The mountain was so empty!

What has been your single most memorable sports experience?

When my good friend James ‘Woodsy’ Woods won a medal at XGames Europe.

What 1 thing would make your life better?

A Teleport

Which is currently your favourite extreme sport apart from freestyle skiing?

Mountain Biking

Can you play any instruments?

I used to play the violin and trumpet but I wouldn’t have a clue how to play them now.

What one thing in life could you not do without?

My laptop. I can talk for free to all my family when I’m away, has my diary on, and gets on the internet so I can sort all my travel and work out.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had and why was it so bad?

I can’t really say I’ve ever had a bad job, I always try and make the best of situations and get on with everyone I work with.

If a genie gave you 1 wish to use to improve your life, what would it be?

A Money Tree. Then I could follow the snow around the world where ever it fell.

If a genie gave you 1 wish to use to improve the ski industry, what would it be?

Make an awesome freestyle dry ski slope in the UK!

Tell us a secret…

I have an allotment in my garden.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

Turning up at my cousins wedding 5 minutes late at the wrong church! Had to run 2 miles in high heels through town to find everyone waiting for me, including the bride who was stood outside.
